Giving
Everything we do at Alive Church, St. George’s is made possible by the generosity of giving of the church.
Why Do We Give?
Being generous with our money is part of our lives as disciples. By giving money away, we give back to God what he has given to us – we give Him thanks and we say that He is even more important than money.
Giving money to our church community supports everything we do; it is the generosity of the church family that enables us to pursue our vision of seeing our community Come Alive.

Gift aid
By consenting to allow us to claim Gift Aid on your Giving we are able to boost your Giving by an additional 25%, so for every £1 you give, we are able to claim back 25p from HMRC. This is of huge benefit to our church finances and is a very simple process – you give your consent and we do the rest. If you are eligible, please take a few moments to complete the Gift Aid Declaration form below.
Alternatively, you are welcome to download a pdf version of the form, which can then be posted to our Church Office, or emailed to finance@alivechurch.uk
Note to Higher rate tax payers: If you pay Income Tax at the higher rate, you must include all your Gift Aid donations on your Self Assessment tax return if you want to receive the addition tax relief due to you.
