Our Story
We are a diverse church gathered from across Gateshead, Newcastle and the North East.
St George’s has been a church for over 100 years. In 2016, a group of people moved to Gateshead to relaunch the church. Since then many more have joined us.
We’re part of the HTB family of churches and share a vision to see the evangelisation of the nation, the revitalisation of the church and the transformation of society.
Everyone is welcome and we’d love to see you at church.

Alive Kids
Alive Kids is a place where everyone is welcomed, valued, and connected as our families and children get to know Jesus, grow together in faith and go out to make Jesus known.
In Alive Youth we are creating space where our young people can step into the life Jesus brings through sharing food, fun and faith, growing together and making a difference in the world.
Alive Students
We love Students. Come and join us at Alive Church, belong to a diverse church family of all ages, be equipped to follow Jesus and make a difference in the world.
