Join us on Sundays
and in community midweek.
We meet on Sundays at 10.30 and at 6pm for our Gatherings. At the heart of each gathering is welcome, singing songs of worship, opening the Bible and creating space to encounter God. There’s cafe before & after so we have chance to connect.
Our 10.30 is a gathering of kids, youth, young adults, families and older people, so you’ll be able to find a family whilst studying.
Our 6pm gathering is similar to the morning but is more intimate and relaxed.
We gather midweek in homes across the region in communities. They’re a place to belong, be cared for and follow Jesus together – there’s lots you can join!
We have Welcome Lunch on the first Sunday of every month after the 10.30 Morning Gathering – we’d love to see you there.

At Alive Church, we want to invite you to join our church family. We’re a church with all ages, gathered from different backgrounds. We celebrate our diversity and believe God has called us to be family together. We’d love to help you belong and find a home whilst studying in the North East.

We believe everyone has a part to play, as we play our part in seeing people ‘Come Alive’ in Jesus’ name. At the heart of our church is a commitment to sharing faith through Alpha, playing our part in social transformation through Love Your Neighbour, and investing in a generation through Alive Kids, Alive Youth and ministry to students and Young Adults. We’d love you to join in and be a part of the mission.
